In alignment with vision of the company, the Company, through its CSR initiatives, will continue to enhance value creation in the society and in the community in which it operates, through its services, conduct & initiatives, so as to promote sustained growth & economic development for the society and community, in fulfilment of its role as a Socially Responsible Corporate, with environmental concern. The Company’s Board of Directors, Senior Management and all employees subscribe to the philosophy of compassionate care. The Company believes and acts on an ethos of generosity and compassion characterized by a willingness to build a society that works for everyone. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 135 of the Act read with the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility) Rules, 2014, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is applicable to the Company for the F.Y. 2021-22. The Company constituted the CSR Committee and adopted the CSR Policy on 01.04.2021 as per the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and Rules made thereunder.
In line with the Company’s philosophy, CSR Policy and Schedule VII, Section 135, Rules framed thereunder of the Companies Act, 2013, the CSR activities of the Company spread across the following areas with preference to local area where we operate our business.
1. Mineral Water
Contaminated water cause diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio. Absent, inadequate, or inappropriately managed water expose individuals to preventable health risks. Therefore, by making safe drinking available, we can also improve the health of the individuals.< We mostly focused on making safe drinking water available to the communities in and around Hyderabad, Kamareddy etc. There are a total of 1041 fluoride-affected habitations spread 28 out of the 31 districts in Telangana. To address this problem and scarcity of drinking water, the Company has been actively working towards the provision of safe drinking water to households in the above areas.
We achieve the object by installing the RO Water Plants in the Villages, Schools, Community Centres etc where the drinking water is not safe for drinking or where there is a water scarcity.
2. Women Empowerment
Our Company supports and empowers women and differently abled persons by donating tri- cycles, sewing machines, conducting awareness programmes on education, health, personal fiancé management, livelihood etc.
3. Education
We committed for education development by supporting the schools and economically weaker section of the students and unemployed youth. We regularly donate benches, books and water plants to the schools. Our employees and top management visit schools and communities to share knowledge and empower them by creating awareness on the latest developments related to education, technology, employment, games and sports etc. We also support unemployed youth by providing them career guidance, employment training etc.
