Lithium borate complex
2-Boronic acid or 2-boronate of oxazole, thiazole, imidazole and benzimidazole etc are either not known in literature or very low yielding. These boronic acid or boronates would have been an excellent candidate for Suzuki coupling reaction with appropriate halides to build heteroaromatics with two heteroatoms. We have developed a method to prepare lithium borate complex of oxazole, thiazole and benzoxazole etc and also demonstrated that these lithium borate complexes are reacting with aryl halide under Suzuki coupling conditions. These lithium borate complexes are available from us in a gram quantity and can be made in a reasonable scale upon request.
